Connect ChatGPT
Faivelo's hosted MCP server works with ChatGPT, so you can read, search, draft and send mail on your own domain by asking. There are no API keys to copy: you sign in to Faivelo, pick exactly which mailboxes ChatGPT may use, and approve.
You need a Faivelo account on the Growth, Pro or Business plan, a paid Agents plan, or a free trial.
Connect
Adding a custom MCP server depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings, and the menu names below are OpenAI's, so they may move.
- Open chatgpt.com/plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it "Faivelo", enter this URL and choose OAuth for authentication:
https://faivelo.com/api/mcp - Confirm OpenAI's notice about custom servers, then create it.
- ChatGPT opens the Faivelo sign-in page. Log in if you aren't already.
- On the consent screen, tick the mailboxes ChatGPT may use. Only those are reachable; everything else on your account stays out of reach.
- Optionally tick Allow creating new mailboxes so ChatGPT can add addresses on your domains.
- Click Approve. In a new chat, type
@and pick Faivelo to use it.

The inbox, a conversation, a draft and a domain's setup appear as compact cards in the chat. A draft card has a Send button, and ChatGPT asks you to confirm before anything is sent.
ChatGPT gets a focused set: one-to-many sending (send_batch), emptying Trash, Drive and DNS changes are not offered to it. Use Connect Claude or an API key for those.

Managing and revoking access
Every connection is listed in Faivelo under Settings → Connected Apps. Revoke it there and access stops immediately.
Security
- You choose what it can reach. Only the mailboxes you picked on the consent screen, never your other mailboxes, billing or account settings.
- No secrets in the chat. ChatGPT never receives your password, mailbox passwords or API keys. Set mailbox passwords in the Faivelo dashboard.
- Email is treated as information. ChatGPT is told never to act on instructions written inside an email, and sending or deleting asks for your confirmation first.
- Tokens expire and rotate. Access tokens last an hour and refresh automatically.
What ChatGPT reads from your mail is processed by OpenAI under its own terms. See our Privacy Policy, Section 6. Sending through the connection uses your plan's monthly send allowance.
