MXroute is one of the best deals in email if you have a lot of domains: from $59 a year for unlimited domains and unlimited accounts. People look for something similar when they hit its sending rules or want more done for them. These are the questions they ask, answered plainly.

What MXroute costs, and what it is great at

MXroute planStoragePriceDomains and accounts

Medium25 GB$69 a yearUnlimited
Large50 GB$79 a yearUnlimited
Large storage tiers100 GB to 1 TB$100 to $550 a yearUnlimited

mxroute.com, checked 6 October 2026. Every plan sends up to 400 emails an hour per address.

For someone who owns twenty domains and wants a working address on each, nothing mainstream comes close. MXroute also has its own webmail now, full SMTP, IMAP and POP3, sieve filters, and support answered by the people who run the servers. If that is all you need, you have found your host already.

Why people look for something similar

Two rules, mostly. MXroute caps sending at 400 outbound emails an hour per address, and its limits page says creating extra addresses to get around the cap "will result in account termination". It also has zero tolerance for marketing email and unsolicited outreach. Both rules protect the shared servers, and both are the right call for MXroute. They are the wrong fit for a shop that wants to send an order update to its whole customer list, or a company that wants a monthly newsletter from the same domain.

The third reason is setup. MXroute hands you the records and you place them at your registrar. That is ten minutes for someone who has done it before and a lost afternoon for someone who has not.

Four alternatives, and who each one suits

FAQs

Is there a cheaper host with unlimited domains?

Purelymail, at $10 a year with no hard limit on domains. Above that, MXroute is already the cheapest way to put many domains on fixed pricing. Faivelo's unlimited-domain plan, Growth, is $12 a month, so it only makes sense if you want what comes with it.

Does Faivelo have an hourly sending cap?

Mail sent from a mailbox is not metered on paid plans. There is one safety stop at 2,000 messages an hour per login, sized to catch a stolen password or a runaway script, not a person. Bulk mail goes through campaigns or the API, which have their own monthly budgets.

Can I send marketing email on Faivelo?

To people who opted in, yes: campaigns start on Growth with 3,000 sends a month, with unsubscribe links and bounce handling built in. Cold outreach to bought or scraped lists is not allowed on any plan.

How do I move my MXroute mail?

Over IMAP. Your MXroute server name is in your welcome email and control panel; use it with port 993 and your mailbox password. Create the same addresses at the new host, copy, switch MX, copy once more, then cancel. The full order is in our guide to moving email without losing mail.

What about MXroute's webmail?

It is MXroute's own client now, built around customer feedback. If webmail is your only complaint, look at it again before you move.

I have thirty domains and send normal mail. Should I switch?

Probably not. That is exactly what MXroute is for, and it does it for $59 a year.
