Create an agent-kind API key in Faivelo and give it to your agent. The agent calls POST /api/v1/mailboxes (or the create_mailbox MCP tool) to provision a mailbox like my-agent@yourdomain.com, and can immediately send and receive mail with it. No human in the loop after the key is issued.
Yes, that is the core use case. The agent signs up for a service with its Faivelo address, polls list_messages on its inbox, then calls read_message to get the full text and HTML of the verification email and extract the code or confirmation link.
Agent keys are sandboxed: they can only operate mailboxes they created or that you explicitly granted them. Domains, aliases, billing, other mailboxes and API-key management are all out of reach, and every key can be revoked instantly.
Faivelo hosts a Model Context Protocol server at https://faivelo.com/api/mcp with the full mail toolset: create_mailbox, send_message, list_messages, read_message, search_messages, list_folders, get_contacts, flag_message, move_message, mark_spam and delete_message. It works with any Streamable-HTTP MCP client. claude.ai and Claude Code connect with OAuth (sign in, pick your mailboxes, no key handling), while headless agents authenticate with an API key.
Faivelo plans start at $6/month with unlimited mailboxes. You pay for storage, not per address. An agent fleet creating hundreds of mailboxes costs the same as a single-user account with the same storage footprint. The developer API is included on every paid plan (from $6/month); the hosted MCP server is included from Growth ($12/month).
Yes. Each API key is limited to 120 requests per minute and 10 mailbox creations per rolling 24 hours. Sending is paced by plan — 10 recipients a minute on Starter, 30 on Growth, 60 on Pro, 120 on Business — and counts against your plan's monthly transactional allowance. The limits keep a runaway agent from harming your domain reputation.
