Which models can I use?

Any provider Open WebUI connects to, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter, with your own key added under Admin settings, Connections.

How do I add my team?

They sign up at its address and wait as pending; you approve them from the admin panel.

Where do the chats live?

Users, chats and settings are stored on the box’s own storage, not in a shared service.

What if I delete it?

Deleting it removes Open WebUI with every account, chat and document in it. There is no undo.

Good to know

You pay for the model
With your own key, directly to the provider. We never call a model on your behalf.
Who makes it
Open WebUI is software from Open WebUI Inc. under its own licence (BSD-3 with a branding clause). You run your own copy; we charge for the box.
