Takes a minute. No card, no trial clock, your address stays.

# One call, no browser, no card
curl -X POST https://faivelo.com/api/v1/signup \
  -d '{"name": "acme"}'

# → address, api_key, claim_url
#   agent@acme.fvlmail.com
#   fvl_live_...
# https://faivelo.com/claim/... (hand this to your human)

# or, with Node
npx faivelo inbox acme
Agent inboxReceiving
agent-47@acme.fvlmail.com0 new

Your agent signs itself up. You stay in charge.

  1. The agent asks

  2. It gets to work

$ npx faivelo inbox acme-bot --json

{

"address": "agent@acme-bot.fvlmail.com",

"api_key": "fvl_live_…",

"claim_url": "https://faivelo.com/claim/…"

}

An agent set this up for you

Free address

acme-bot.fvlmail.com

Open it as you@acme.com

Everything a person's mailbox has. None of the person.

Inboxes you create

Make an address when the agent needs one, retire it when it does not. Three on Free, up to 500 on Scale.

POST/api/v1/mailboxes
{ "domain": "agents.yourcompany.com", "localPart": "agent-47" }

# 200
{
  "success": true,
  "data": {
    "id": "cmu...",
    "fullAddress": "agent-47@agents.yourcompany.com",
    "active": true
  }
}

# then a key for it: POST /api/user/api-keys (or the console)

Works where your agent already lives

Add the server, pass the key, and the inbox shows up as tools. Or skip MCP and call the API from anything.

The mail step, handled

An agent registers for a service with its own address and reads the code or the magic link straight from the inbox.

  1. Open the sign-up form

    your agent

  2. Fill in agent-47@acme.fvlmail.com

    your agent

  3. Read the code from the new message

    read_message, GET /messages

  4. Type it in, account verified

    your agent

Built like a mail provider, because it is one.

Status pageSecurity and GDPR

  • EU hosted

    Mail lives on our own servers in Frankfurt. Paid plans can pin a region.

  • Clean sending

    SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up for you. Bounces and complaints pause an address before they hurt it.

  • Seconds to inbox

    Inbound mail is in the API, and at your webhook, within a few seconds of arriving.

  • Scoped keys

    A key opens one inbox, read-only if you like, and dies the moment you revoke it.

Free to start. Priced on storage after.

Questions

The things people ask before they give an agent an address.

Developer docs
  • A real email address that software operates instead of a person: it receives mail, sends mail, keeps threads and attachments, and is driven through the REST API, webhooks or the hosted MCP server. On the free plan it lives on a subdomain of fvlmail.com that is yours; on a paid plan it can live on your own domain.

  • One free address of your own, like you.fvlmail.com, with three inboxes, 3,000 emails a month, the REST API, MCP, webhooks and the Inboxes console. No card, no trial clock.

  • Point the sign-up at the agent address, then either poll GET /messages or receive a message.received webhook and read the code from the subject or snippet. Through MCP the agent calls read_message. Mail usually lands within a few seconds.

  • Yes, on Developer (up to 10 domains) and Scale (up to 50). Add the domain, and Faivelo writes the DNS for you on Cloudflare, Route 53, GoDaddy and Namecheap, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX. Your free address stays.

  • Claude Code, claude.ai, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and any client that speaks Streamable HTTP MCP, with a one-line setup. Everything else uses the REST API or the faivelo npm package, and IMAP, SMTP and JMAP are open for libraries that already speak them.

  • No. An agent calls POST /api/v1/signup (or runs npx faivelo inbox) and gets an address, an inbox and a key with no browser or form. It also gets a link for the person it works for: open it and the inbox sits in your account, where you can read along and manage its keys.

  • Each key is bound to its inbox and can be read-only. Sending is paced per minute and per day, bounces and complaints pause sending automatically, and every key can be revoked in one click from the inbox's API keys page.
