# Webmail

> Read and send mail in the browser.

Webmail is the fastest way to use your Faivelo mailbox — nothing to install, works on any device with a browser.

## Signing in

1. Go to **mail.faivelo.com**.
2. Enter your full email address (for example, `jane@yourdomain.com`).
3. Enter your mailbox password — the one shown when the mailbox was created, the one emailed to you by your administrator, or the one you set yourself. If you've added a passkey, use **Sign in with a passkey** instead.

<docs-aside type="note">

Webmail login uses your **mailbox** credentials, not your Faivelo account. If you manage domains in the dashboard, that's a separate login.

Forgotten your password? Click **Forgot your password?** on the sign-in page. If you set a recovery email, you get a reset link within a minute and choose a new password yourself. If not, the request goes to whoever manages your domain to approve. Every option, including changing your password and adding a passkey, is on [Passwords, passkeys & access](/mailboxes/passwords-and-access).

## Your inbox

### Folders

The sidebar shows your standard folders — Inbox, Sent, Drafts, and so on. You can also create your own **custom folders** to organize mail your way, and rename or delete them later. Move messages between folders to keep things tidy.

### Compose

Click **Compose** to write a new message. Unfinished messages are saved as drafts so you can pick up where you left off. You can also reply to and forward messages from the reading view.

### Search

Use the search bar at the top to find messages. Results replace the current folder view; clear the search to get back to your inbox.

### Calendar invites

When someone sends you a calendar invitation (an ICS attachment), webmail shows it as an event card right inside the message, so you can see the details at a glance. Webmail also includes a **Calendar** where your events live — and you can sync it with Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, or any CalDAV app from the calendar's sync settings.

## Settings

Open **Settings** in webmail to personalize your account:

- **Display name** — the name recipients see next to your address.
- **Profile picture** — shown on your account in webmail.
- **Email signature** — added to messages you send. If your domain administrator has set a company-wide signature, you'll see it marked as managed; you can still personalize details like your title and phone number.
- **Password** — change the password used for webmail and mail apps.
- **Recovery email** — an outside address that lets you reset a forgotten password yourself.
- **Passkeys** — sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or a security key instead of the password.
- **Connection credentials** and **Your devices** — the server settings for a mail app, and a one-step profile for iPhone or Mac.
- **Linked mailboxes** — switch between several mailboxes without signing out.

The password, recovery and passkey options are explained step by step on [Passwords, passkeys & access](/mailboxes/passwords-and-access).

## Prefer an email app?

Webmail and email apps show the same mail — your messages live on the server, so anything you read, send, or file in one place shows up everywhere.

## Next steps

To use your mailbox in Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or your phone's mail app, see [IMAP & SMTP settings](/mail/imap-smtp-settings) — or the dedicated [iPhone & iPad setup](/mail/ios-profile) guide.
